Podcasts and my Creative Zen Micro - Part 1
I recently had to select a MP3 player to replace my lost ipod shuffle, and thought it was a good chance to upgrade to something with a screen. I have an hour long bus ride every morning, and every night and I really enjoy listening to podcasts to pass the time. (I’ll blog soon about which podcasts). It was nearing Christmas as well, and I planned on getting an MP3 player for my wife also. So I was looking for something that was simple to use for both of us, large enough to not require major re-loading more than every couple of weeks, and preferably had an FM radio.
After much debate, I chose the Creative Zen Micro:
So I bought it, and tried it out for a week before buying Lisa’s. It worked great. The FM radio has a bit of weak signal. Weaker, in fact, then the $6 radio from “the shack”. Other than that, I have not been disappointed. It took a while to get the perfect setup for podcast synching. I’ll get to that in part 2. |
